The drive home was much faster than the drive down. Hardly any traffic. A few food stops. We were home by 6:30. We did drive through a lot of rain. We didn't have to pull over, but did put the hazards on more than once. Great to get a way, great to be back in our own beds.
We proved the world outside of our home isn't so scary. We can do this. We can do it safely and we need to start living again. The mental toll this quarantine is having on people is becoming a reality. Faith over fear, faith wins every time.
