Last Day of School

School was out early this year because we didn't really have any snow days. So let summer begin! Here are the last day of school pictures and we celebrated with a picnic on the square with friends.

Golfing with Pops

This was supposed to be a family evening of golf, but one little boy who shall remain nameless lost the privilege and had to stay at home. So Pops took the ladies golfing! She may not be terrific but she might have hit the ball further than me once or twice and she looks so dang cute!

Mother's Day

It was a beautiful Mother's Day. The kids did a singing program with Sunday School at church and I tried not to think that it might be the last year that Elizabeth would be participating in that! The gentlemen then treated the moms to brunch afterwards. Following lunch we thought it would be a good idea to take pictures some pictures outside because it was so beautiful out. This photo shoot got a little carried away and by the time we got to the car Brandon was in misery because of his outdoor allergies. Apparently he thought we could have done with a few less pictures - which is kind of ironic considering he isn't in any of them! Sorry honey, next time speak up sooner!

Georgia & Megan is 2!

We took a long weekend in May to visit GA and celebrate Megan's birthday a few days early. But before we made our great escape we made a trip to Midwest Orthopedic! To sum it up it amounts to a dog we all love, a squirrel and a girl who didn't let go! Yes, EB had Auggie out on a leash and Auggie saw a squirrel and wanted to chase it. EB was on the other end of the leash and got pulled over and she fell onto her arm, onto concrete. So before traveling we decided we should get it checked. They didn't see a fracture but she had to wear the removable cast to protect it while it healed. (left arm this time, last time it was her right). She missed the majority of the swimming stroke clinic in May, but s he was ready to swim when it came off! Luckily it did not take a way from any Georgia fun. She could still play laser tag! The kids had so much fun playing with Megan and taking golf cart rides! It was also Derby weekend and we had fun guessing the winner, complete with a winner's prize that David had secured.

Night time golf cart ride
Ready for the derby!
Megan is in charge at Uncle David's office
Beautiful weather to play outside!
The kids loved playing play-doh with Megan.
Birthday party was Minnie Mouse themed - Ima made ears for everyone!
Only for his cousin would he wear these ears as long as he did!
It was a little chilly in the south, but we found a great warm layer for Grant at an event that hosted at the Griffin facility.
Always the mother hen!

Spring Soccer

Ironically they were both on reddish color teams. Elizabeth was more raspberry and Grant fire engine red. They both moved up leagues, which meant they both played on bigger fields, so more running! Grant had Elizabeth's coach from last year. We really like his coaching style and how he teaches the fundamentals of soccer.

Elizabeth is 15!!
