We took a long weekend in May to visit GA and celebrate Megan's birthday a few days early. But before we made our great escape we made a trip to Midwest Orthopedic! To sum it up it amounts to a dog we all love, a squirrel and a girl who didn't let go! Yes, EB had Auggie out on a leash and Auggie saw a squirrel and wanted to chase it. EB was on the other end of the leash and got pulled over and she fell onto her arm, onto concrete. So before traveling we decided we should get it checked. They didn't see a fracture but she had to wear the removable cast to protect it while it healed. (left arm this time, last time it was her right). She missed the majority of the swimming stroke clinic in May, but s he was ready to swim when it came off! Luckily it did not take a way from any Georgia fun. She could still play laser tag! The kids had so much fun playing with Megan and taking golf cart rides! It was also Derby weekend and we had fun guessing the winner, complete with a winner's prize that David had secured. |
