My Half Marathon

Sometimes friends talk you into things you never thought you would do, like running a half marathon!

We spent the night in the grain bin - modeling our shirts!

I got a special bib for my back

And I had the best little cheering section!

It was a brisk start

 We never stopped and walked, we ran the whole thing. There was only one brief pause for a bathroom break. At one point the wind was really strong and one of my Lisa's said "run behind me and I'll block the wind" What a friend! It was awesome to run on campus too - although it is fair to say I saw parts of CU I didn't know existed!

Donuts...always a good motivation for me!

We love our Cardinals

This is the year that Grant has really taken an interest in baseball, in particular the Cardinals. Maybe the announcers could talk about Pham's father being incarcerated a few more times so I can explain that to my 7 year old one more time. Choices, buddy, it's important to make good choices!

Easter 2018

So it was a little cold on Easter. I mean how many people can say they hunted eggs in the snow?! At least the sun was shining!

The golden was found by Grant, but they had to share! Tenzi dice were inside!

Easter egg hunt doesn't start until we have coffee.

Aunt Sandy had been down the day before and had a special Easter art project to do with the kids. Sunday was church and brunch. Grandma and Grandpa joined us.
