Candlelight Stroll

That is not us - just capturing the scene!

 Our community does an event each winter called the Candlelight Stroll.  In the past I have gone with my girlfriends because all of the shops on the square stay open late and we shop and then do dinner.  However, last year I took just Elizabeth and this year the whole family went!  The weather was very mild and it was a nice night to be out.  They have a candle lit path for the horse and carriage ride, a place to mail your letter to Santa and then Santa is inside one of the restaurants.  After naptime I told Elizabeth what we were doing and she said, "Do I get a candy cane after sitting on Santa's lap?" She remembered that from last year. That girl doesn't forget a thing!!

Grant didn't cry!

Elizabeth got her candy cane, after telling Santa she wanted a McDonald's Drive Thru for Xmas!  His response was "quite the entrepreneur!"

We mailed a letter with her wish list - yes McD's drive thru was at the top!
