The Sweetest Good Night Kiss

I have had a really busy week and don't feel like I have had much quality time with the kids. Brandon was working late last night so it was just me and the kids for dinner, baths and bed. After dinner we got in the "big bath tub" and splashed and played and just had fun (and got clean!). We were all in Elizabeth's bed reading books and it was time to say good night. Usually, we tell Elizabeth to give Grant a kiss, but tonight I said, "Grant, do you want to give your sister a kiss good night?" He looked at me for a second and then slowly crawled over to her. As he got closer he climbed up on part of her arm. She laid so still, smiling and waiting. I was holding my breathe, was he really going to do it?! Then he leaned over to her mouth a planted a big one on her! Now, I should mention the way Grant kisses is he opens his mouth and then brings his mouth to you. He doesn't quite have the puckering down, but we know that this is his way of kissing and considering a lot of times when Elizabeth hugs him, he bites her (Someone told me that sometimes babies bite as a way of showing affection), this moment was precious. She grinned from ear to ear and I was so disappointed that I didn't have the Flip camera in my back pocket because it was a moment worth capturing! It was exactly what I needed and it melted my heart!
