Peep

Elizabeth was having a rough afternoon and every little thing was bothering her and her reaction was to yell. I had asked her to stop several times and helped her find solutions to the problems such as "he is looking at me" and "he is going to take my bag." She was overreacting to everything! As a last resort I said, "Elizabeth if you make one more peep you are going to your room to lay down." She quickly said, "PEEP!" and walked away. I couldn't even get mad because I was laughing so hard. She didn't say it rudely, she honestly said it like a bird - like a bird peeping!
