Baby Shower
(this has actually been a few weeks now...I was hoping to post a few more pics, but we have had some technical difficulty, so before I forgot I thought I would just go ahead and post it)
This past weekend we hosted a baby shower for Brandon's cousin. I thought I would share some of the things we did. My sister in law came up with some really cute ideas! I credit her with the creativity!
The invite idea I stole from another blog. We also cut out onesies and used them as nametags, attaching them with a safety pin.
The "pom-poms" were made out of tissue paper (16 sheets for the large ones, 8 for the smaller).
Our menu included chicken skewers with zesty orange dipping sauce, meatballs, fruit kabobs, veggie cups and marinated tortellini/cheese/pepperoni picks.
For dessert we had cake pops, dipped pretzel rods and lemon bars. Amber did most of the leg work for the cake pops. They were delicious, but they take some time, as they are a multi-step process.
