So the day of the Christmas Walk came and went in a blur. I really enjoyed talking to all of the people and seeing people I hand't seen in a really long time and then going through the mental exercise of "who is that person and where do I know them from?!" Elizabeth's holiday music program was scheduled for the same night so I had a friend cover for me as we wouldn't miss a Mr.Nelson production for anything in the world!
Game table staged with hot cocoa and Candy Land |
Pops found this musical Santa that he let me borrow for the walk. It is motion activated so it was fun to just sit in the next room and watch the crowd's reactions! |
No I don't cook with the wreath there! |
Ima made a new red cushion for the bench....amongst numerous other pillows and throws! |
I only explained the names in the brick on the fireplace 3,287 times :) |
No snow to set the scene but no rain either so the floors stayed dry! |
Ima made oversized stockings too! She is my little elf! |
I am really proud of this door. It was curb side pick up/dumpster dive find! |
There were cookies on the platter at the far end of the table - there were a few less by the end of the night! |
Several questions about where this picture was taken. Ikea, people, I got it at Ikea! |
The only true antique we own. The coat rack from Brandon's great grandfather's barber shop. Also, quite the conversation piece! |
