This past Friday we went to Metamora's Old Settler Days. Another good ole' hometown festival. I was really excited for Elizabeth to try the rides. We went with our neighbors (and good friends!) Their little girl Lauren is fearless so I thought she would help encourage Elizabeth to try some new things. As it turned out Elizabeth was more than willing to try the rides. They started slow with the Carousel and Motorcycle, but did the Super Slide, Dizzy Dragon and even the Scrambler....after dinner!
Lauren & Elizabeth ended the evening dancing on the square to the live band. These girls have a lot of fun together!
Grant had a good time too. I think he will be ready to get in the game next year! He was actually clapping along with the music!
