Imagine Hiking

Hey kids while Daddy flies to Vegas to see Imagine Dragons let's go for a hit and get lost! We had to park at a different entrance and we got adventurous and took a new path. Did I mention that I told the kids we weren't taking water because we would just be out for an hour. Oh and we had the dog with us, oh and I still have the worst sense of direction!! But we made it out of the forest and didn't have to spend the night there!

And Brandon had a great time on his trip (we were just a little jealous of the concert!)

Girls Trip

The need to use some hotel points before expiration prompted a very quick girls trip to the Windy City. On this trip we found new favorites (that will be revisited) ... Dick Blick Art store, Sugar Factory and the One of Kind Show at the Merchandise Mart.  These girls are such a joy and we stayed up way too late giggling and laughing!

I got to chaperone (yet drive separately - so I didn't have to get to ride the bus) Wild Life Prairie Park with 4th graders.

Birthday Art Show

Easter in Atlanta

We celebrated Easter in Georgia with David's family.

 A little tailgate at the outlet mall. Andrew just has the best little head to rub!

 I only got yelled at once for not using the parent remote control on the jeep correctly. So then we just decided it was best to let Elizabeth escort Andrew.

 These boys could have played knock out all day. (and yes they were sore the next day!)

 Family fun at the Star-light. First we did laser tag and then David and Sara impressed us with their inline skating.

15th Anniversary

I was actually there too, but someone had to take the picture, right?! We celebrated at Harvest, which we recently learned has now closed. Brandon has a special guys trip planned for April 2020 and I was at first disappointed thinking that he would be gone on our 15th anniversary - until we both did the math and realized that we had already celebrated our 15th anniversary!

The MidWay Duck Inn just happened to be on the way home from a baseball game. We were there early and got the early bird special! The kids now understand why we love corn fritters! Hey coach, let's schedule a few more games in Henry!
