We were driving home from swimming and Grant said something to Elizabeth that she didn't care for and her response was "If I was your girlfriend would you treat me that way? The girls are not going to like that!"
One day after school Grant told me that the teacher was dividing up the class by birthday and he said his birthday was Oct 2. I said "buddy, your birthday is in June." His response was "I didn't know that, I guess my teacher doesn't know either!"
When working with Elizabeth to count by tens we were saying "fifty, sixty, seventy, eighty, ninety, " and Grant interrupts and says "tenty!" He was so proud of himself. We then introduced the words "one hundred".
Grant continues to be confused of how his birthday can come first, yet he is younger than Elizabeth. This is a weekly conversation.
Elizabeth asked "When does Santa sleep?"
Grant: "What rhymes with hot dog? Fart dog!" (this is a favorite that never gets old!) He also learned a new song "I'm sassy and fat and I can change my color just like that!"
