An Elizabethism is just what I call things that she says. Here are a few from today.
"Mommy (long dramatic pause) I'm sweating like Daddy!"
She is sitting on the bed writing in a notebook. Not just scribbling, but trying to make it look like sentences on a page. So I ask her what she is writing. "I'm writing my stories from today". Oh my future blogger!
"I think Grant tooted. Did Grant tooted?"
"When I was a baby I...." fill in the blank with anything from I sat in that high chair to my name was Grant Ryan. "um no sweetie, you have always been Elizabeth Brooklyn!
"Will you dance with me?". Always! (our collection of Time Life Rock Ballads CDs arrived this week!). Actually, a Pauli family dance party is one of our favorite post dinner activities. There is nothing better than singing, dancing and laughing with your family :)
