We were done with church by 8:40. It seemed like a long day ahead but Brandon decided to finish up an indoor electrical project that we had started a few months ago and it ended up taking up much of the day. The weather was really pretty gloomy and not conducive to much outside activity.
I escaped in the afternoon for a parking lot party with some friends. This new reality is really strange but we are finding ways to make it work!
The kids ran on the treadmill, played some games and all in all got along really well. After dinner they were sitting at the counter just talking. Talking like friends. It warmed my heart!
