Swim Team - Part I

Here are a few pics from half way through the season.  The kids are doing great and having so much fun!  We are bummed that they will miss 5 meets while we are in England, but we will still have two more when we get back.  Grant has been a little unsure at times, but he can now make it in the bullpen without his little bottom lip quivering and wants all of his events to be 50's, instead of 25's.  Elizabeth's favorite event is now the IM.  Grant's favorite is the breast stroke.

I can't even tell you how excited I was to see the cover of this swim magazine! Isn't that cool? I am an overly proud parent and owning it! I am not sure we really have Olympics in our future (OK, honestly I am sure we don't) but the American flag on a swim cap makes me smile! And we are loving watching all of the swimming on TV with the Olympic swim trials.

Other side of the pool for a relay - she's on the right.  The officials came over to tell the girls how to get in the water for the relay.  These two have swam multiple relays together and both have very stoic tendencies.  I am not sure but there have might have been an exchanged eye-roll when they were told for the 3rd time when and how to get in the water.  This is their "We've got this" stance.

This is the I'm nervous, but I can do this smile. The best is when EB runs over to him and pats him on the back saying "you got this buddy, you got this buddy!"
